Training Information

Booking Instructions

NB. Non-members can only attend one training session before having to join the Club.

Please book your training with the Organiser (not the Instructor) and forward the fee IN FULL at least 1 week before the date as both trainers and venues need notice of cancellations. If there are not sufficient numbers booked at least 5 days before, the session will be cancelled. Bookings cannot be made without receipt of the full fee. Places are limited so if you cancel, fees can only be refunded if sufficient notice is given, your place has been filled, or the Training Session's cost has been covered. Anyone who cancels the night before or on the morning of the session is almost certain to lose their fee. Remember: if you have to telephone Organisers, please do so at the stated times, as it is unfair to their families if you ring at less convenient times. Paid-up members will be given priority for training places.

In Summary:

• Your training place is only guaranteed if paid for in advance
• Anyone booked-in who doesn't attend the training is expected to pay in full
• Please do not ring Organisers outside their specified times, and only if absolutely necessary (thank you)

BOOKING INSTRUCTIONS:

• Please State Clearly:
  - what you are booking for
  - the standard of horse and rider (e.g. height you want to jump)
  - your name, address and telephone number
  - how you can be contacted, especially on the actual training day
• Please send your booking fee to the Training Session's Organiser, usually: Mrs Marilyn Turner, Ryersh House, Ryersh Lane, Capel, Surrey RH5 5LA (tel. 01306 711069 between 9-10pm, but only if essential please)
• Cheques payable to: HDRC (No post-dated cheques please)

Please Note:

• All outside schooling will be weather and ground permitting
• Riders are requested to help set up and clear away show jumps, so please arrive early
• Please support training and try out our new trainers
• If groups are not sufficiently supported they will either be cancelled or held at additional cost

Please note for Cross Country Schooling:

• Back protectors are compulsory
• In the interest of safety, it is advised that riders bring someone with them (this may become a rule in the future)
• Before training begins, please provide a name of someone we can contact and their telephone number, in the event of an accident
